It would not surprise me if
there are people who think that
the Amazon Rainforest
is something they can just buy
online and have delivered
straight to their homes using prime
delivery and that it
will arrive in an over
sized box wrapped in ten metres
of paper to protect it
from any kind of damage.
Maybe we are all
just cosmic anomalies,
accidental freaks
in a boundless universe
of black singularities.
Winter may have an icy
heart and you may feel a cold
and bitter sting of despair
that makes your mood a little
blue. But have hope as life is
blooming, radiant in thaw.
Love sleeps between the snowdrops.
We coexist with the ghosts
of ourselves, our futures and
pasts haunting celestial
dimensions. Somewhere we are
numbed by times universal
parallels. Our bodies don’t
exist, our souls are torpid.
